Ashley Graham inspires fans with new Calvin Klein campaign: ‘Seeing this makes me feel good about myself’
Ashley Graham is serving!
On Thursday, the 33-year-old model shared a stunning photo of herself rocking Calvin Klein's new Heron Preston collection. Graham sported a white bra and underwear set along with a black jacket that hung off her shoulders.
"Call me, beep me, if u wanna reach me in #MYCALVINS @calvinklein and @heron what an honor thank you for including me in your vision," she captioned the post, using a line from the classic Disney cartoon Kim Possible.
Fans flooded Graham's comments letting her know not only how much they love the look, but also how she has inspired them.
"So beautiful Ashley," one fan wrote.
"Goddess," another person said.
"Seeing this makes me feel good about myself. You make us curvy ladies look beautiful. You help me to feel more confident in my own skin. Its not an easy thing after so many years of hiding yourself. I looked at myself in the mirror this morning in my bra and underwear and thought wow, I am beautiful and sexy. You probably won't see this. But just in case you do. Thank you," a user explained.
Graham shared another photo in the same outfit along with behind the scenes video of her shoot. Earlier this week, she posted a pic of herself wearing an orange bra and underwear set from the Heron line.
Graham's campaign comes after the brand faced backlash in 2014 when they debuted size 10 model Myla Dalbesio as their "first plus size model." People took to social media to share their outrage, some accusing the brand of perpetuating stereotypes and insecurities.

Dalbesio, who considers herself an "inbetweenie," spoke out after the controversy telling InStyle: "I like to think that this whole controversy is starting a greater conversation towards more inclusivity with fashion. ... I really like to believe that this means more girls my size have a chance at breaking in."
Since then, singer Beth Ditto was featured in Calvin Klein underwear ads and in 2020 an image of plus size model, actress and activist Jari Jones was featured on a billboard in New York City.
“Never have I seen a Black trans woman put on such a public platform to be celebrated, and it was overwhelming … like an out-of-body experience. … It was huge for me," Jones said in an interview with Yahoo Life in 2020. "Flooding with so many emotions of my own history of trying to break into the fashion industry, and all the ‘nos’ and ‘you can’ts’ and the ‘you’ll nevers’ all kind of dissipated in that moment. It was really, really empowering."
