Ashley Graham Shows Long Legs in Sparkling Newsprint Mini Dress
Ashley Graham was the news of the day while out and about in New York City!
The model attended an event for National Tequila Day in Brooklyn wearing a sparkling newsprint mini dress with a small slit in the front. She rocked the Vic dress from Clio Peppiatt, which sells for over $2,000.
Graham went for a simple look for hair and makeup, with her long brown hair styled in soft waves, while she decided to forego accessories to let the dress be the focus. The outfit perfectly highlighted the model's golden skin and long legs.
The 35-year-old was at Clase Azul's The Loft Brooklyn for an event highlighting the brand's Clase Azul Tequila Gold on July 24, also known as National Tequila Day. Along with fantastic drinks, the event featured a sit-down dinner with delicious dishes made by talented chefs.
Aside from fashion-forward events like this, Graham is quite busy with other projects, with the model currently hosting HGTV's Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge, in which a bunch of HGTV staples will battle it out to transform a Southern California home into a literal Barbie Dreamhouse.
While visiting Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the Today show to promote her new series, Graham talked about taking on the responsibility of being a role model for young kids.
She said, "If I would've had a Barbie that looked like my body growing up, I think my mind would have not been as traumatized, and I wouldn't have looked at myself in the mirror and thought, 'Why do I have this and she has that?'"
Now, Graham literally has a Barbie doll modeled after her, which she showed Kotb and Bush Hager. The model said of the doll, "She has thick thighs, she's got a round butt, she's got lower belly fat."
But she noted that she wished the doll also had cellulite, to be more realistic, but Mattel, the company that makes Barbie, wasn't able to include it.
Graham's new HGTV show premiered on July 16, shortly before the much-anticipated Barbie film hit theaters on July 21.
