It’s official! Bachelor in Paradise couple Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are now married, bookending a rather long-winded friendship and love story.

The couple married in Rhode Island on August 11. “We freakishly agreed on everything. Growing up we had the exact same vision of our wedding, [making] it as grandiose as it has become,” Iaconetti told People. Haibon added, “We’re so accustomed to being together, and living together, that marriage is the obvious next step.”

The wedding was a Bachelor Nation reunion, bringing together fan-favorite personalities from all Bachelor franchises. Keep scrolling to read all the details from Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon’s wedding.

The Rehearsal Dinner

Before they became husband and wife, Iaconetti and Haibon kicked off the wedding festivities at their rehearsal dinner. The lavish soiree was hosted at the OceanCliff Hotel, a grand ballroom with seaside views in Newport, Rhode Island. Iaconetti wore a two-piece Tarik Ediz gown for the celebration, which was actually one of the last things the couple planned.

“We didn’t decide on our rehearsal dinner spot until last month,” the bride told People ahead of the wedding. “It was one of the very last things we planned.” While Haibon envisioned a “low key” evening, Iaconetti had other plans. “I brought him to OceanCliff, and he was like ‘Alright. You’re right,’” she continued. “It overlooks the other side of the water in Newport, Rhode Island, so you see the bridge and the sunset.”

As guests began arriving prior to the rehearsal dinner, Iaconetti and Haibon took them on a sunset cruise off the coast. “There’s a lot of people I love in my life, and it was fun asking my friends, like, ‘Hey, I want you to be a part of this with me,'” Haibon told People of involving his friends in the wedding.

Ashley’s Wedding Dresses

Iaconetti originally planned on wearing one dress for her nuptials, but the podcast host changed her mind after falling in love with two designs. “I never thought I would be a two-dress kind of girl, but I found my reception dress first and couldn’t say no,” she told People.

For the ceremony and part of the reception, the bride wore a lace Ines Di Santo ball gown. “This dress needs to be shown off as much as possible!” she said. “It is unreal. It is everything I ever wanted… It’s the kind of dress that you wear and you are so thankful you chose that one, because you’re going to look back on it 50 years later and be happy you went with that style.”

After the reception began, she changed into her second look: a “super feminine and romantic” satin design from Rita Vanieris. “It made me look tiny and was super flattering,” she said. “It was satin and it was clean lines and I loved it so much.”

Iaconetti accented her bridal look with Brooke Rayne jewelry and a custom bouquet from Birch Event Design, a Brooklyn-based design production company that also created the décor and floral arrangements for the wedding.

Bachelor and Bachelorette Guests

Given that the couple’s relationship started developing on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise (though they didn’t officially become a couple until much later), it was only fitting that they were surrounded by personalities involved in the hit ABC franchise. Former Bachelor Nick Viall and current Bachelor in Paradise contestant Dean Unglert served as two of Haibon’s groomsmen.

Also in attendance were Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, another couple who met on Paradise, as well as former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and boyfriend Jason Tartick, a contestant on Season 14 of The Bachelorette.

Additional alums like former Bachelor Ben Higgins, contestants Chris Strandburg, Becca Tilley, Olivia Caridi and JJ Lane all attended the star-studded nuptials.

The Wedding Ceremony and Reception

The couple exchanged vows in a ceremony officiated by Bachelor producer Elan Gale, who replaced Haibon’s close friend Tanner Tolbert. Though Tolbert was originally slated to hold the role, he was unable to attend the wedding after welcoming his second child with wife Jade Roper (whom he also met on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise).

Following the ceremony, the couple’s romantic reception carried late into the evening. According to People, guests enjoyed a pasta bar and New England-inspired hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour. They also served three signature drinks: “The Brady Punch” (a nod to Haibon’s love of Tom Brady), “Ashley’s Tears” (in honor of Iaconetti’s reputation for crying on The Bachelor), and “Jack and Rose” (the central characters in the beloved film The Titanic).

American Idol alum David Cook sang “Ever the Same” for the couple’s first dance, which was followed by music from DJ Jack Ford.

The newlyweds cut into a custom confection by Shelby Elizabeth Cakes. The baker, Shelby Bowers, won an episode of Wedding Cake Championship, a show that Iaconetti and Haibon appeared on as guest judges.

Iaconetti previously opened up to People about her unique vision for the reception. “Jared and I from the very beginning have been saying we don’t want our wedding to be a party. We want it to be a romantic experience!”

The Wedding Planner

Celebrity wedding planner Troy Williams served as the mastermind behind Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon’s wedding. “Couldn’t be happier for your wedding day and the year of planning together,” Williams wrote to the newlyweds on Instagram. “I simply love you @ashley_iaconetti + @jaredhaibon and here’s to your storybook wedding beginning today.”

Williams’ résumé of celebrity weddings also includes the nuptials of Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich and Eva Longoria and José Baston.
