The Olsen twins' sightings are few and far between, so anytime one makes an appearance, it's kind of a big deal.

On Thursday night, Ashley Olsen made her return to the red carpet — and, of course, she did so in her go-to monochrome. The actress stepped out at the YES 20th Anniversary Celebration in Beverly Hills with her longtime boyfriend Louis Eisner, whose father is the founder of the organization. For the special event, she wore a chic all-black outfit comprised of a floor-length black dress with a high neckline and a long black coat draped over her shoulders.

She kept the accessories minimal with a simple pair of gold hoops and a matching ring. Her hair was slicked back into a low-slung bun, and makeup-wise, she opted for peachy eyes and lips.

It's been quite some time since Ashley's last red carpet walk, which was in June 2019 at the CFDA awards, where she was joined by her twin sister and business partner Mary-Kate Olsen. In a recent (and rare) interview with i-D, the sisters explained how the duo's elusiveness is reflected in their fashion house.

"We were raised to be discreet people," Mary-Kate said, before Ashley added, "I think that potentially that's just our aesthetic, our design preference. But that doesn't mean that we don't also appreciate something truly ornate or maximal. Sometimes a collection even starts quite like that, and then gets pared down. It doesn't always start from that simplistic place."
