Aubrey Plaza Shares Epic 'Galentine's Day' Shot With Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones and Kathryn Hahn
The 'Parks and Recreation' co-stars reunited just in time for the big holiday.
Without Parks and Recreation, there would be no "Galentine's Day," so it only feels right that Aubrey Plaza and Rashida Jones shared a selfie posing alongside a few of their other gal pal co-stars while celebrating the unofficial holiday.
Plaza and Jones, who portray April Ludgate and Ann Perkins, respectively, took to Instagram on Feb. 13, sharing a selfie with fellow Parks and Rec alum Amy Poehler and Kathryn Hahn.
Jones, 46, looked to be the orchestrator of the snap and shared the photo on social first, writing, "Happy Galentine’s Day from the original Gals!"
Plaza, 38, later shared the same photo, captioning it: "happy galentines day ?????."

The origins of Galentine's Day can be traced back to Season 2 of the hit NBC mockumentary-style sitcom, with the fictional town of Pawnee's deputy director of parks, Leslie Knope (played by Poehler, now 51), introducing the celebration of friendship to the world in 2010.
Since then, fans and their besties have taken to treating each other a little extra special, planning dinner parties and small gift exchanges the day before Valentine's Day—and you can bet they were delighted to see the creators of the cultural celebration also partake in the festivities, sharing their love in the comments.
"YAS!!!!!!" exclaimed an overjoyed Kerry Washington.
Someone else joked, "ok i didn’t need to cry on a monday afternoon."
"i’ve been waiting all year for this," another added.
"this just made our day ????," the official NBC account admitted, followed by the official Parks and Rec page, "why am i so emotional right now? ??."

Others wanted to know why Retta—the actress who portrays office manager Donna Meagle on the hit series—was absent from the photos.
"WHERE IS RETTA," one fan said, demanding an explanation, while another asked, "Where’s Retta??"
Despite Retta's absence, the actress, 52, still managed to celebrate with an adorable gif of the original Galentine's Day founders in a sweet nod to the series on her Instagram Story.
Happy Galentine's Day to all who celebrate!
