Aubrey Plaza Is Unrecognizable As A Blonde Bombshell On The Set Of New Movie ‘Megalopolis’–We’ve Never Seen Her Like This!
Fresh off The White Lotus, Aubrey Plaza, 38. is joining another phenomenal cast–this time with the iconic film director Francis Ford Coppola. On Dec. 19, Plaza and Star Wars actor Adam Driver got in character for the upcoming Coppola sci-fi drama Megalopolis.
Megalopolis has been Coppola’s passion project since the 1980s and it’s scheduled to be released in 2024. He describes the pitch as, “The fate of Rome haunts a modern world unable to solve its own social problems in this epic story of political ambition, genius, and dangerous love.” Interesting!
Aubrey Plaza Bundles Up In A Fur Coat On Set on Megalopolis
Despite the disastrous blizzard that hit the northeast, Plaza, Driver, and Coppola were spotted filming the Coppola movie in New York City. Plaza has undergone a style change for the film as she was seen with Hitchcock blonde hair in a braided updo in the set photos. To stay warm, she’s cozied up in a fur coat leaning up against a car. Driver was seen in casual attire, with the pair also spotted alongside Coppola. Plaza also rocked a sexy, low-cut baby blue dress and a dark lip that had fans reeling!
Naturally, fans were instantly obsessed with these behind-the-scenes pics and headed to the comment section to hype up her look. “I thought that was Sidney Sweeney omg Aubrey transformed,” one user wrote while another added, “that is why she went blond” with fire emojis. Others talked about how good Plaza and Driver looked together, one user commented, “a movie with both of them. I may perish” with a red heart emoji. We totally agree!
Fans think Plaza swapped her signature dark brown locks for winter blonde for the new Coppola film. She debuted the new ‘do at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 13th Annual Governors Awards. While discussing her new blonde hair with Drew Barrymore on her show, Plaza revealed that she ran into her Parks and Recreation costar Amy Poehler at the salon and Poehler held her hand throughout the dying process. How sweet!

Plaza draped in a matching red velvet cape and witch hat atop a black dress and boots for a book signing in Detroit. She and her creative partner Dan Murphy met with about 300 faces on Dec. 22 as they took center stage to read and discuss their new storybook, “The Return of the Christmas Witch,” a sequel to last year’s debut from the duo called “The Legend of the Christmas Witch.” We love it!
