B&N Sandwiches opens second location in Holland Township
HOLLAND TWP. — Eight months after signage appeared in Holland Township, B&N Sandwiches has opened to customers.
The location's sign at 1011 136th Ave. was posted in October, but The Sentinel was unable to reach ownership for confirmation of the impending eatery.
That changed Friday, June 14, when B&N began a soft opening.
“Our first location opened in 2019, and we wanted to open a second location by popular demand a year later,” said Vi Nguyen, whose parents, Binh Nguyen and Nhung Le, own the restaurants. “That was in 2020, but there were a lot of delays with the pandemic and backlog in getting licensing and equipment.”

Nguyen said an opening in Holland was encouraged by the volume of locals who regularly travel to the restaurant in Grand Rapids.
“We took a poll and, by popular demand, a lot of our really frequent and loyal customers were from the Holland area,” Nguyen said. “We worked with a commercial real estate agent in Holland and Lansing, and Holland had the most available locations.”
The restaurant offers a larger menu in Holland, thanks to sit-down seating and a patio. The menu includes sandwiches, egg rolls, noodle soup, rice dishes and pho.
The eatery's drink menu is also expanded, with boba milk tea, fruit teas, coffee and more.

Nguyen said her parents appreciate their customers' patience and look forward to serving the Holland community.
The eatery fills the former home of Don Miguel Restaurant, which moved to 264 N. River Ave. in 2021. The building, listed at 1,788 square feet and built in 2004, was once home to La Hacienda and Ice Cream Forest and Restaurant.
