Is Baby Sussex Almost Here? Well, Meghan Markle’s Mom, Doria Ragland, Just Arrived in London So…
Better make your final baby name predictions, because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child is almost here.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the 37-year-old duchess’s mom, Doria Ragland, has reportedly left her home in Los Angeles and traveled across the pond to the U.K. Her arrival is a good sign for royal aficionados, considering she’s supposed to be present for the child’s birth, which is expected to happen any day now.
Markle’s mom, 62, is a social worker and yoga instructor and has a close relationship with the Suits alum. Not only was she the only member of Markle’s family to attend the royal wedding, but she has also showed up to a number of outings.
Back in September 2018, Ragland accompanied the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to an event celebrating Together: Our Community Cookbook. Markle helped create the publication in honor of the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy.
In October 2018, Prince Harry and Markle announced that they were expecting their first child. Unlike Kate Middleton, who welcomed all three of her children—Prince George (5), Princess Charlotte (3) and Prince Louis (almost 1)—at the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, the pregnant duchess is expected to give birth at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey County, which is a 30-minute drive away from couple’s new home at Frogmore Cottage in Berkshire, England.
Although we don’t know exactly when Baby Sussex will arrive, chances are it will happen before Prince Charles’s next royal outing, which begins on May 7.
Shout-out to Ragland for being punctual.
