Bachelor Colton Underwood Is Dating Cassie Randolph After Dramatic Season 23 Finale
That fence hopping sure proved to be effective. Bachelor Colton Underwood is dating contestant Cassie Randolph.
The couple’s relationship status update was revealed during the dramatic, two-part season finale of the smash ABC reality series aired Tuesday, March 12.
The road back to Randolph was atypical of The Bachelor and it proved to be especially challenging for Underwood, who already faced his own set of obstacles.
First, Cassie left on her own and second, her father rejected Underwood’s bid to propose. In fact, Cassie’s father was so vehemently against a Bachelor proposal—even after noting how he appreciated Underwood’s enthusiasm—that he ended up reiterating his point in, of all places, Portugal for the fantasy suite date portion.

Underwood, however, was convinced that he had to end up with his top three finalist—ring or no ring.
“Once I had the conversation with Cassie, my mind was made up,” he said on the program. “I was either going to leave by myself—or I was leaving with her.”
Underwood then scampered off in a fit of emotions in what’s now known as the infamous fence-hopping incident. During his moment of solitude, he realized that he needed to split with his remaining two contenders who were present for fantasy suite dates.
Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin both dealt with the shocking, emotional aftermath once Underwood had made up his mind.
“You’re incredible and I just owe you the respect and the honesty like we’ve been with each other this while time of where I’m at right now,” he told Tayshia previously. “I feel like I knew that I was falling for you, but in my heart I know I can’t love two people… I love Cassie.”
