Bachelorette party guest shamed online after email detailing her demands goes viral

A woman who asked the bride for an invitation to her Las Vegas bachelorette party and then emailed the group a list of rules to follow is getting shamed online for her demands.

A Twitter user posted screenshots of the email online after it was removed from Reddit, where it had first appeared.

The post explained that the guest, who is referred to by the pseudonym Taylor, wasn’t invited to the wedding in the first place. But after she contacted the bride, who is called Emma in the post, she was added to the list of guests.

Then, when Taylor found out about the Las Vegas bachelorette party, she demanded an invitation as well.

“We ultimately decided what the hell, what’s the worst that could happen?” the person behind the post wrote.

The next thing the group knew, Taylor sent all bachelorette party attendees an email that outlined the six main rules they must not break on the trip.

Taylor started by saying that she knows Vegas is known as ‘Sin City’, but she still needs to “uphold the moral code our Father inscribed in my heart.”

With this in mind, Taylor arranged for the group to attend church.

“Sunday @7:15am we’ll be Ubering to the church. I can’t wait to share God with all of you,” she wrote, saying it’ll be a nice way for them all to cleanse themselves of their sins.

Rule number two was that there should be “no hard liquor” in their hotel rooms.

“I don’t want people getting inebriated and falling from the balcony,” she wrote, adding that this is the first time she’ll be “of age” in an environment of “prevalent drinking” and she doesn’t want to be tempted by “foul drinks.”

Instead, she asked everyone on the email chain to “stick to light beers and red wines.”

In addition to ditching hard alcohol, Taylor forbade sex from taking place in any of the hotel rooms. She explained that because none of them have committed themselves to their husbands, “there’s no need to have premarital sex.”

Taylor went on to ask the women not to bring any men back to their rooms because she doesn’t want to be “robbed.”

She also asked each of the bachelorette party attendees to send her $50 each because she’ll be buying groceries for the rooms.

“The last thing we need is to be famished in that desert heat,” she wrote.

Last but not least, Taylor banned drugs of any kind, saying they “bring nothing but problems.”

She even singled out a guest, demanding she leave her Adderall at home despite her medical condition.

People on Twitter couldn’t believe Taylor’s email, with one woman demanding to know how the whole thing panned out.

“You can’t show all this and NOT tell us what happened when the bachelor party went underway! Did she renege? Did they go to the church? Did they ever Venmo her any money? Did they do the sensible thing and just forget to pick her up entirely?” she wrote.

According to the Twitter user who posted the email, Taylor was apparently threatening legal action against a fellow bachelorette party attendee who made the email public.
