New bar to open at Caesars New Orleans this summer
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A new bar and lounge is set to make its debut at Caesars New Orleans this summer.
According to a news release, Octavia is a 27-seat bar with a 136-seat lounge area, live music, 19 table games and 60 slot options.

The bar and lounge’s name is inspired by Ancient Rome, as well as the number eight, which has been “revered in history as the luckiest number and associated with wealth, prosperity and success.”
In addition to music and table games, Octavia will also feature a chandelier and an artisanal cocktail menu that draws inspiration from Ancient Rome, Paris and New Orleans.
The release states attendees can expect to see drinks like the Octavia Sour, the Back O’ Town Elixir and the Paper Fortune Teller Sazerac Experience.
Octavia is slated to open in Downtown New Orleans before Labor Day at 8 Canal St.
