You Can Basically Get Drunk Off This Vodka Ice Cream
There are tons of boozy desserts available these days, from H?agen-Dazs' line of spirits-infused ice cream to Shake Shack's limited-time Will and Grace-themed shake. And while those all sound delish, we haven't seen anything yet that appeals strictly to vodka drinkers, until now.
Arctic Buzz, a company based in Baltimore, has a line of six vodka-infused ice cream flavors, and the possibilities for boozy desserts to include them in seems endless - milkshakes, root beer floats, and punch, for starters. The flavors include Key Lime Pie, Cookies and Cream, Chocolate, Raspberry, Vanilla and Coconut.
Arctic Buzz works with a local distillery to make artisan vodka flavors that blend well with their ice cream, like raspberry-flavored vodka to go in the raspberry ice cream. Every pint is home made and hand churned, and while the alcohol content varies by flavor, all of them are between 8.6 and 8.9 percent... pretty high when compared to its competitors. The H?agen-Dazs line contains less than 1 percent, for example.
Right now, Arctic Buzz desserts are only available at liquor stores in Maryland, but here's hoping they expand soon.
