'Baywatch' Is Getting an ‘Action-Packed’ Reboot
Nicole Eggert and Pamela Anderson in the original 'Baywatch'
Baywatch is slo-mo running its way back on to TV!
A reboot of the lifeguard drama has received a script plus penalty commitment from Fox. Lara Olsen has been tapped to write the new "action-packed" series. Olsen, who is serving as showrunner, will also executive produce the reboot along with the original Baywatch creators Michael Berk, Greg Bonann and Doug Schwartz.
The original show, which debuted in 1989, starred David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth and Nicole Eggert among others.
