BEACH GENIUS H2.0, an entire skate video influenced by water
The Man Who Films aka Tide Evans aka Thom Musso has unleashed his tidal creativity on us yet again. You may remember him from his film Beach Genius back in 2019 all about New York skaters making the trek out to Rockaway Beach to skate and of course frolick in the waves. It was... genius.
So we're overjoyed to get into this H2.0, much more cerebral, version. Not all filmed at Rockaway, it's more "focused" on water and spots influenced by its wavey nature. Catch the wave.
This video hits different as we're right now in the last days of summer. It's a good reminder to get out and get some while the sun is shining. For the New York skaters, you know how precious this fall weather is.
Always hyped to see Dave Caddo. If anyone can find water-inspired playgrounds in the city with skateable obstacles, it's him. This video is rife with good nicknames too: Jetty Mraz, Marcello Clampanello, Rob Drydock and more. These dudes really spelunked to coastline to skate capsized boats, concrete fragments and more. Inspiring stuff!
