This 'Beauty and the Beast' Wedding Photo Shoot Is Simply Enchanting
With Disney's live-action version of Beauty and the Beast premiering this week, the classic tale is on everyone's mind. Seriously, right now you can find themes from the movie on everything from tea bags to cast iron pots. But the most magical thing we've seen to date has to be this romantic wedding.
Photographer Raelyn Martellino of Raelyn Elizabeth Photographer, Sylver Weddings and Events and Baldwin Bridal and Events all teamed up with a slew of other professionals in the wedding industry to show future brides just how dreamy a Disney wedding can be when done right. They kept certain details inspired by the movie the same, such as the red roses and gold candlesticks. But they put a modern spin on other details, such as Belle's dress, which they dip-dyed to create an ombré look.
Of course, a couple of characters from the movie had to make an appearance. But to prevent the wedding from veering into cheesy territory, they kept these nods subtle.
We also love how the team added details that we bet Belle would want for herself is she was planning a wedding in present time, such as books to represent her love of reading and a rose cake topper to remind her of the very thing that brought her and her prince together.
And, of course, even traditional details from this wedding, such as the engagement ring and flower arrangements, left us in awe.
However, Martellino says this shoot wouldn't have been possible without the help of the rest of the vendors she collaborated with, including: The Wedding and event planner, Baldwin Bridal & Events; the planner and stylist, Sylver Weddings & Events; the florist, Flowers by Alicia; the wedding venue, Pala Mesa Resort; the baker, Charly's Cakes; the stationery designer, Boxed Wedding Invitations; the model for Belle, KaitLynn Markley; the model for the prince, Fabian Lopez; the hair and make-up artist, Domenica Beauty; the jeweler, Keep Collective and the custom sign maker, Foswick Collectibles. We'd give the entire team a standing ovation if we could.
