Beauty influencer James Charles shares nude photo after Twitter account is hacked

Hackers reportedly took over makeup artist James Charles’ Twitter account, posting offensive messages that led to the shutdown of his page.

On Saturday, Charles tweeted a nude photo, writing, “hi I got my account back just case I ever get hacked again, here’s the ONLY nude I’ve ever taken! can’t threaten me with it now get a life.”

Earlier, the beauty influencer’s 4 million followers were hit with weird messages from the 20-year-old’s account such as, “James Charles is a huge....” and a homophobic slur. The message was signed, “The Chuckling Squad.”

And according to Heavy, another post read, “Gonna post James nudes from his iCloud when @OwenBDK reaches 4k followers.”

And eports and entertainment site Dexerto published screenshots of a post, seemingly from Charles’ account, with a photo of serial killer Ted Bundy and the caption, “Ted Bundy aka our hero.” Per another message, “Gonna leak @KylieJenner number when @OwenBDK hits 10,000 followers!”

The aforementioned account has more than 1,500 followers with its latest tweet reading, “James Charles got some nice booty.”

According to Insider, during the hack, Charles’ account disappeared, switched handles to @ChucklingRN, and became unverified.

When reached for comment, Twitter user @ChucklingRN confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle that it hacked his account.

Representatives for Twitter and Charles did not return Yahoo Lifestyle’s requests for comment.

According to the U.K. Metro, YouTuber Shane Dawson, who has 8.8 million followers, was also broken into on Friday, with hackers reportedly using a homophobic slur to describe Charles and tweeting, “Nazi Germany did nothing wrong.”

On Saturday, Charles was a trending topic on Twitter with followers slamming his revealing pic. “This is unnecessary and disgusting,” tweeted someone.

Charles responded, “It’s a butt, get over it.” And Charles replied to one follower, “Yeah well i didn’t ask to have my security and privacy threatened either....so this is me taking back ownership of the situation, move on with your day.”
