Behati Prinsloo Recalls The ‘Beautiful’ Birth of Her & Adam Levine’s Baby Boy
Giving birth to baby number three was a “beautiful” experience for Behati Prinsloo. The Victoria’s Secret Angel told her childbirth story — and revealed her baby’s sex nearly a year after his birth — in a new interview, and it revealed so much about her life with husband Adam Levine.
In an interview with The Mother Daze podcast, Prinsloo shared that she chose not to have an epidural with her baby, who was born in Jan. 2023. “My doctor at a certain point was like, ‘I just want to let you know, this is kind of the point, if you were going to get anything, this is it,'” she said, per E! News. “She was like, ‘It’s up to you, nobody’s putting pressure on you, do what you feel.’ I was like, ‘I feel really good, I think I’m just going to go with this feeling right now.'”

That’s awesome for her! I personally have never felt “really good” during labor with my three kids, but if Prinsloo did and she wanted to ride on that high, more power to her.
She added that Levine was very helpful during the whole thing, too (which is honestly the bare minimum for dads, but it’s not always the case). “It was his favorite thing to watch and to be there and to help me through it,” Behati continued. “And people telling him what to do to help me, too. Like the doula putting him there where she would have been just really making this into such a beautiful experience for everyone.”

Prinsloo, who also shares daughters Dusty Rose, 7, and Gio Grace, 5, with Levine, referred to her baby using “he/him” pronouns, seemingly revealing that he is a boy. In the interview, she gushed about her bond with her son. “I felt so connected with him,” Prinsloo said, adding, “I was just so amazed by women in general. I was like, ‘Wow, like I freaking did this…'”
It wasn’t all rainbow and sunshine, though. She also said she felt “insane pain and bliss,” a “rollercoaster of feelings,” and “tunnel vision” during childbirth, per Page Six. Yes, that tracks!
Prinsloo confirmed the birth of her baby boy in a March 2023 photo of his feet. A month later, she shared a sweet video of herself holding the baby in a carrier and bouncing on an exercise ball. “Never not bouncing,” she wrote, adding, “I’m a mother of 3 whattttt!!!!!”
Although the couple has remained super private about their kids, Levine did tell Ryan Seacrest that having three kids is “awesome.”
“It’s zoned defense, as they say. It’s awesome,” he said on an interview on On-Air With Ryan Seacrest, per Billboard. “I love the chaos. I embrace the chaos.” That’s good because three kids definitely bring a lot of chaos, no matter how easy the actual childbirth experience was!
These wild celebrity birth stories are dramatic, hilarious, and utterly eccentric.
