Can You Believe This Couple Started A Relationship While Getting Arrested On General Hospital?

Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) have been one of the biggest supercouples on General Hospital since the early 2000s, and their breakup devastated many, including the two characters. But the March 7, 2024 episode of GH saw the fan favorites reunite in a less-than-ideal situation.

Knock-Knock-Knocking On Spinelli’s Door

After Maxie showed up to finally give her relationship with Spinelli another chance, the conversation was halted by Spinelli’s shock over spotting Jason (Steve Burton) on his security footage from Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) shooting.

The pair was further interrupted when Jagger (Adam Harrington) and another FBI agent busted the door open, demanding they see the footage. Despite Spinelli informing them he didn’t have the footage, he and Maxie both wound up in handcuffs as the agents searched his computer setup.

How The Arrest Turned Romantic

Handcuffed and awaiting their arrest, Spinelli and Maxie attempted to sway Jagger into letting them go, but failed miserably as the agent insisted Spinelli admit he did indeed have the footage. But the most surprising moment came when Jagger asked Spinelli for his password, to which Spinelli spelled out, “M-A-X-I-M-I-S-T-A.”

The password instantly made Maxie swoon, and when Spinelli told her he didn’t care what happened to him as long as she was free in the end, the moment ended with a kiss that just began their new relationship in the midst of their arrest.

Not Their First Rodeo

This isn’t the first time Spinelli and Maxie found romance in a dire situation.

Back in 2008, the two then-acquaintances found themselves trapped in a sewer, during which time Spinelli daydreamed about sweeping the fashionista off her feet while Maxie found herself intrigued by the quirky cyber genius.
