Bella Hadid Responds to Those Drake Dating Rumors
Since Drake dropped his new album, Scorpion, the world has been speculating about who his lyrics might actually be about.
Not only do the lyrics appear to confirm that Drake has a son, but they also touch on his rumored relationship with Bella Hadid. To recap-Hadid and Drake partied together in the summer of 2017, leading to copious rumors that they were, in fact, dating.
Us Weekly even reported at the time that Drake had thrown Hadid a 21st birthday party, having "planned it and paid for everything." These rumors were followed by reports that Drake broke up with Bella by ghosting her.
While several lyrics on Scorpion appear to refer to Bella, one of the most telling is featured in "Sandra's Rose" when Drake references the model's dad saying, "My house is full of supermodels just like Mohamed Hadid."
Fans also believe that Drake's new song "Finesse" is about the supermodel, as he muses in the lyrics, "Should I do New York? I can't decide. Fashion Week is more your thing than mine."
However, Bella has now seemingly responded to the rumor that she dated Drake. When a "fan" responded to a story about the potential union on Twitter saying, "Probably, who hasn't he banged," Hadid was quick to reply. Setting the record straight, she elaborated: "Not me!!!🤷that's disrespectful. WHY CANT PPL BE FRIENDS W/o all the insinuation..."
So according to Bella Hadid, she never dated Drake, even if the lyrics on his new album suggest otherwise.
