Bella Hadid and The Weeknd Finally Recommit to Following Each Other on Instagram
It took Justin Bieber a month-long relationship, engagement, and then an additional six days before he refollowed his ex-turned-fiancée Hailey Baldwin on Instagram. It took The Weeknd and Bella Hadid only a little less to do the same last night, but not much: just 8 months of talking, multiple public makeouts, a couple Instagram stories of each other, and one Instagram photo credit tag. But now it's official: as of this morning, both Hadid and The Weeknd are following the other on the 'gram.
The two's unfollowing of each other was dramatic last year: The Weeknd unfollowed Hadid at the same time his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez did in March. Hadid held onto following The Weeknd a little longer until she finally hit that unfollow button in early April. Then The Weeknd and Gomez broke up at the end of October, The Weeknd was spotted hanging at Bella Hadid's apartment in November, then this May, the two were photographed making out at a Cannes party. Oh, to be young and rich!
They've spent the last couple days together in Tokyo, each sharing shots of the other in their Instagram stories. During the weekend, The Weeknd gave Bella Hadid a photo credit tag. It seemed all too clear this was coming:
All that remains is The Weeknd and Bella Hadid putting a permanent, PDAy photo of each other on the 'gram to say we're officially Instagram official again. It won't be long now, given the steadiness of their romance rollout.
