Bennett Just Became a Frontrunner on ‘The Bachelorette’ & Here’s Why
Now that Clare Crawley is officially engaged, Tayshia Adams can start developing real connections with The Bachelorette contestants. Despite popular belief among the men, we think Bennett is going to make it all the way to the end (based on tonight’s installment).
During season 16, episode six of The Bachelorette, Adams invited eight men—including Bennett—on a group date and challenged them to a “Grown A** Man” competition. The goal was to complete a series of games, which are designed to test how much of a man each person is.
Based on the short-lived group date, we’re convinced that Bennett has major frontrunner potential. Why? This is the first real connection Adams has had with someone on the show (yes, we’re including last week’s one-on-one date), and it didn’t go unnoticed. Not only do they have stuff in common, but their chemistry is undeniable. “She forgot about everybody else in the room,” said Ashley Iaconetti, who hosted the group date.
It’s important to point that the other contestants aren’t the biggest fans of Bennett. However, it’s only because he refused to participate in one of the physical challenges, claiming he didn’t want to trigger an old injury. In fact, the majority of the contestants’ comments seem to stem from pure jealousy. For example, when someone commented on Bennett’s perfection, Adams responded, “Bennett’s bougie. And I’m bougie, so I appreciate it.”
We’re not saying Bennett is “The one” for Adams, but it wouldn’t hurt moving him to the top of your Bachelorette bracket for the time being.
The Bachelorette returns to ABC next Tuesday, November 24, at 8 p.m.
