Berluti Men’s Fall 2024

It’s shaping up as an Olympic year for Berluti. The luxury brand is dressing Team France for the opening ceremonies of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, but don’t expect any sport-themed capsule collections.

Ahead of the unveiling of the team uniforms in April, the house stuck to its signature brand of refined elegance, though it’s been pushing its offer in a more casual direction for a few seasons.

This time, the focus was on workwear silhouettes, with a speckled gray denim suit, which was paired with shoes blending its signature patinated Alessandro brogue with a thick rubber sole. There were also regular jeans, which might pair well with one of the outdoorsy quilted jackets or a double-faced cashmere work shirt.

Hiking and running influences could be felt in the footwear, especially. Sleek leather ankle boots came with thick ribbed knit paneling while the Sky Running sneaker, inspired by trail runners, featured an ultralight Vibram sole and was available in three colorways.

Rugged textures also made their way into the bag selection, with standouts including a Luti in grainy Venezia leather.

For all that, Berluti remains firmly anchored at the top of the luxury pyramid, with offerings included a burgundy biker leather jacket lined in mink, or a classic suede blazer in moss green.

Most exclusive of all is its limited-edition Berluti Editions line, making its debut with a collection dubbed Rapiecé Reprisé, a name that refers to the mending of cherished pieces. Originally created by Olga Berluti in 2005, it combines the brand’s signature patinated and Scritto leathers with oversize hand-stitching.

The ultimate indulgence? A set of three shoes, two stitched and one smooth, allowing the wearer to mix and match. Make do and mend has never been so chic.
