These Are the Best Catholic Colleges in the U.S.

Niche, a company that specializes in data on educational institutions, just released its college rankings for 2018. And while Georgetown is perhaps the most notable (First Daughter Tiffany Trump started law school there in late August), Notre Dame took the top spot.

The list was compiled after "rigorous analysis of academic, admissions, financial, and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and alumni."

Here are the top 10 Catholic colleges in the country:

3. Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts

4. College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts

5. Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania

7. Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California

8. University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio

9. University of San Diego, San Diego, California

10. University of St. Thomas - Minnesota, Saint Paul, Minnesota
