The Best-Dressed Men of the 2023 Golden Globes

For the first time in nearly two years, the Golden Globes are back, baby. This means many things, really: a celebration of entertainment and media (sure, whatever), an evening with the stars (predictably), a reformed HFPA (thankfully), and, perhaps most important of all, a red fuckin' carpet.

The 80th Golden Globes are a big one, so big fits are expected. In a year where entertainment wasn't afraid to go outside the box—or into the multiverse—style should be just as big and loud, and provocative and bold. After all, the looks in nominated films and TV shows in 2022 set the bar high. Remember the gorgeously intricate gowns of House of the Dragon, the fistful of insanely weird and chic outfits in Everything Everywhere All At Once, the retro coolness of Elvis, the adolescent Sunday couture in Euphoria?Yeah, all iconic. And, really—win or lose, in my book, it's better to go home empty-handed but best-dressed than go home empty-handed and not-best-dressed (a lesson we learned from seeing TV's greatest take some major Ls this year; thank you for your service, Maddy Perez and Rhaenyra Targaryen).

So tonight, we celebrate entertainment and style. From men in monochrome to men in pleated skirts, these are the very best dressed men at the 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
