Amazon Fire tablets
For post-Presidents’ Day, the Amazon Fire HD 10 is still on sale for $95, down from $150. It’s currently at its all-time lowest price ever — and it’s a great Apple iPad alternative.
This compact tablet has a brilliant 10-inch HD display at 1080p and 12 hours of battery life so it won’t conk out mid-show. It features a lightning-fast Octa-core processor paired with 2GB of memory and 32GB of on-board storage (expandable up to a whopping 512GB), which makes it the speediest of all Amazon Fire tablets.
“The picture quality is excellent. You can really tell the difference from the previous version. The processor is also much faster,” shared a delighted reviewer. “Reading off the screen is very easy with the text sizing adjustment option.”

Apple iPad
Amazon shas the Apple iPad Air still on sale for $550—you’ll save $49. Ready, set, shop: It’s the lowest price this tablet has ever been.
The Apple iPad Air Wi-Fi-only model is slightly larger than the previous model, with a 10.9-inch Retina display compared to the entry-level’s 10.2-inch. It’s also zippier, thanks to Apple’s A14 Bionic chip built-in (the older model uses the A12 processor). Plus, it has 64GB of on-board storage. In just about every way, the Apple iPad Air is bigger, faster, sharper and sleeker than the entry-level model.
“Easiest and most powerful iPad Apple offers next to the Pro,” raved a five-star reviewer.

Samsung tablets
The 10.4-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 rivals the iPad in every way. It’s so easy to use and versatile, it just might convince iPad users to switch to Android altogether. And it’s still on sale for $219, or $61 off.
It weighs just over a pound and boasts 64GB of storage (expandable up to a whopping 1TB via microSD card), compared to Apple’s entry level, which isn’t even expandable. And unlike the entry-level’s iPad, the Tab A7’s 10.4-inch display has a full HD widescreen for immersive viewing.
It features an eight-megapixel selfie cam with a five-megapixel rear shooter on the front for video calls. This camera set is actually better than the one that comes with the iPad!
“Super build quality. Glass panel is very smooth to the touch,” shared a savvy tech shopper. “The slightly longer aspect ratio is really noticeable when using in portrait mode while scrolling emails. The processor is pretty snappy with the latest Android 10 features. Best fit for media consumption and mid range gaming...”

Shoppers even like it more than the Fire HD 8.
“Pretty zippy, well worth the price. I saw this Vankyo tablet on Amazon and noticed the good ratings and decided to give it a try. So far so good,” shared a five-star reviewer. “After a few weeks of use, the Vankyo is noticeably faster than my old Fire HD8, the screen is great—everything just works more quickly...”
