USA TODAY’s 10Best just released a rankings list of the top 10 best fast food burgers of 2024 and a classic, Florida-founded fast food chain made the list.

“USA TODAY 10Best's editors and a panel of burger buffs set out to crown the absolute best choices on these menus. Then, our readers voted for their favorites,” the rankings list says.

Burger King, which was founded in Jacksonville, Florida, took eighth place on the list.

Here’s which Burger King burger made the top 10 list of the best fast food burgers in the U.S. and which fast food restaurants are Floridian favorites, based on reviews.

What is the best fast food burger in the U.S.?

The Double Char burger from The Habit Burger Grill, a California-based quick-service restaurant chain got the top spot.

Burger King’s classic Whopper took eighth place.

“The second-largest fast-food hamburger chain in the world introduced us to the Whopper in 1957,” the rankings list says.

“Every year, Burger King sells over two billion of these burgers made with flame-grilled beef patties and topped with tomatoes, lettuce shreds, mayo, pickles, ketchup, and sliced onions — all on a sesame seed bun.”
