This family-friendly resort feels a world away from the hubbub of Dubai, yet it’s just 20 minutes’ drive to malls and theme parks. Still, with private beach, pools and activities galore, it’s better suited to a seaside break than a base for exploring the city. The hotel has eight bars and restaurants built into alcoves off the gorgeous grand hall, and prides itself on authentic cuisine, including Indian, Chinese and Italian, prepared by native chefs.
