The best interactive toy you can get for dinosaur-loving kids — and it’s only $15
As a beauty and style blogger with more than 17k followers on Twitter and a mom of three, Cori Ingrassia knows what kids love.
To help make gift buying a little easier this season, she’s sharing with Yahoo Lifestyle the top toys on her holiday list. “Today I thought that I would share three toys in particular that I know kids are going to go crazy for,” Ingrassia says.
WowWee Untamed T-Rex by Fingerlings ($15)
Fingerlings are all the rage these days, so it’s no surprise the popular toy is on Ingrassia’s list. This one in particular is perfect for a dinosaur-loving kid, and it won’t break the bank.
“It’s like a little pet dinosaur that fits on your finger,” she says. “They chomp, they growl. It reacts to your touch, so if you touch its head, it’s going to make noises.”
In fact, the toy makes 40 different sounds, and its head and eyes move. “I love that this toy is interactive,” she says. “It’s cute; it’s small. It doesn’t have little pieces, and kids are going to love it.”
Project MC2 Slumber Party Science Kit ($20)
This gift is perfect for your science-and-spa-loving kid. The kit includes ingredients to formulate their own rainbow and mineral clay face masks, sugar scrub and body shimmer, as well as cucumber eye goggles so you can feel like you’re relaxing at the spa. “So they incorporate science and play in a really fun way,” Ingrassia says.
Roblox Zombie Attack Playset ($32)
The 21-piece kit is a must-have for your zombie-loving builder. “All of the characters, you can mix-and-match them,” she says. “It comes with all of these fun little accessories. And it’s just a really great way to get them off of the screen and really bring them back to physical play.”
