All the Best Looks from ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Premiere

The highly anticipated adaptation of Kevin Kwan’s best-selling novel, Crazy Rich Asians, premiered last night in Hollywood, and the stars of the upcoming film certainly rose to the sartorial occasion. Here, six looks from the premiere that were as luxe as a weekend in Macao.

Constance Wu

Wu stunned in a Ralph and Russo 2018 haute-couture gown festooned with sequins and fringe. To up the ante, she topped off the look with more than 100 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds, dahling.

Gemma Chan

The Crazy Rich Asians star was every bit as glamorous as the character she plays (ahem, Astrid Leong-Teo) in a metallic sequined dress by Oscar De La Renta.

Awkwafina

The actress and rapper channeled Meghan Markle’s wedding dress in Reem Acra and a David Webb ring and earrings. Timeless and trendy? Check.

Henry Golding

To quote the Crazy Rich Asians teaser, Golding looked like the “Prince William of Asia” in a powder blue and black tuxedo from Tom Ford.

Constance Lau

Lau opted for the aptly titled Singaporean brand Time Taken to Make a Dress when it came to her premiere attire. The effect? Futuristic with a touch of Asian-inspired opulence we can’t help but marvel at.

Michelle Yeoh

Yeoh put her own Armani Prive spin on the classic strapless silhouette, and all we can say is yaass.
