The Best Rom-Coms on Netflix for Valentine's Day
Valentine’s Day may not be your favorite holiday, but revisiting a cheesy rom-com or Kleenex-worthy tear-jerker (or five) is the best way to get in the love/hate spirit ahead of February 14. Here, a peek at all the romance-filled films you can stream on Netflix now.

“Bridget Jones’s Diary”
Come on, the original film—and the choice Bridg (Renée Zellweger) has to make between Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) and Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant)—is a total classic. In fact, we could watch that fight scene outside the restaurant on repeat for days.
“How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”
Sheesh, neither Kate Hudson or Matthew McConaughey will cry “uncle” in this flick about a magazine writer on assignment to scare an adorable man off fast. And bonus: It’s the perfect little slice of early ’00s life.
“Leap Year”
The three best reasons to watch this film: Amy Adams, the Irish countryside and omg Matthew Goode. (Swoon.)
“Sing Street”
One of the more ambitious—and under-the-radar—love stories: A Dublin teenager decides to form a rock-and-roll band in order to win the heart of a girl.
"13 Going on 30"
Come for the Michael Jackson's "Thriller" group dance scene; stay for dude-next-door heartthrob Mark Ruffalo.
"Beauty and the Beast"
Disney lovers will rejoice in Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the (majorly CGI) Beast (and, OK, Josh Gad as LeFou) in the retelling of the classic fairytale.
"Emma"
Based on the Jane Austen novel, a matchmaker (Gwyneth Paltrow) meddles in her friends' love lives only to (almost) miss an opportunity of her own.

"While You Were Sleeping"
A lonely Chicago Transit worker (Sandra Bullock) falls in love with a man she's never met (Peter Gallagher) and ends up saving his life from an oncoming train. He goes into a coma, which is when the real drama (and love story) starts to unfold.
"Carol"
Set in 1950s New York, Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara give awe-inspiring performances in the critically acclaimed film about a forbidden affair.
"Midnight in Paris"
We thought we loved Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard before this film about a time-traveling writer on vacation in Paris, but—boy—were we wrong.
"Atonement"
Try not to use a whole box of Kleenex as you watch a young Saoirse Ronan, who plays a wealthy teenage girl in 1930s England, tell a lie about her sister's (Keira Knightley) secret lover (James McAvoy), causing them to be torn apart during World War II.
"Love Actually"
Eight separate love stories all leading up to Christmas add up to our favorite British rom-com (including the best Hugh Grant dance scene) ever made.
