Too Hot to Handle, Netflix's latest reality-TV drop, has captured the attention of Americans in quarantine everywhere. We met a whole cast of sexy people who have to stick out a month-long retreat together and are told they can't have sexual activity of any kind (including masturbation). If that sounds like a thoroughly wild concept, it is. Many of these people are models, others also have clothing lines, and all of them love a selfie.
As someone who watched this show in a single sitting, I couldn't wait to see what the rest of America thought of this truly wacky premise. And the reactions were so worth the wait. Some people expressed their frustration at Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey, the couple that stole the show (and lost everyone money because they couldn't keep their hands off each other). Others talked about how Matthew "Jesus" Smith reminds them of other infamous long-haired men. Even more talked about how much respect they have for Kelechi "Kelz" Dyke, a.k.a. "the accountant" whose only real priority here was to make sure the contestants got to keep their money.
Truly, this man kept his eye on the prize. He did his best to hold everyone accountable and keep themselves to themselves. Was he always successful? Nope. But it's very inspiring to watch him try.
