Suru Bar - Another iykyk speakeasy spot in the wine world, there's no signage outside of Suru giving you confidence that you've arrived. You'll just know it. You'll also see the blinds keeping peering eyes from looking in. Just across the street from Mercat del Ninot in the Eixample neighborhood. Suru is influenced by the flavor palate of Japan and the name takes special meaning as well...In Catalan, “suro” is the word for cork. In Japanese, it's conjugation of the verb “to make”, and holds a sensual connotation when used unconjugated. All in all you'll be sipping from an ever changing wine program of about 100 references.
