Bethenny Frankel has been the Real Housewives of New York from beginning, joining the show for its first season in 2008. Aside from the a hiatus she took form the show between 2010 and 2015, Frankel's been a fan-favorite star of the series, as viewers watched her grow into a bonafide business mogul. Now, the Skinnygirl founder and reality TV mainstay has decided to step away from the franchise.

"It’s time to move on and focus on my daughter, my philanthropy and my production partnership with Mark Burnett, producing and starring in shows which represent a shift in the conversation for women," Frankel said in a statement, per Variety.

But before she took that next step, Frankel took a moment to thank her supporters in a letter on Instagram. "I wanted to take a moment to write a personal note to you. I am so grateful to you for sticking with me through everything," the caption begins. "You started this journey with me in my tiny apartment in my late 30s, wondering what would happen to me. I was broke, single, had no family and no idea what the future held."

She continues, "I had big dreams and I never stopped, but I honestly didn’t know if I would ever get here. You helped me to get here. " Her message goes on to thank fans for sending letters, giving her advice, and supporting her for over a decade.

Frankel may be breaking up with RHONY, but she's in the reality TV game for the long haul. With Mark Burnett, she plans to develop and executive produce unscripted shows—and according to Variety, there's a chance she'll even appear in front of the camera, too.
