Better Add Apple TV+’s New Psychological Thriller, ‘Losing Alice,’ to Your Streaming Queue
Step aside, The Flight Attendant. There’s an all-new psychological thriller in town.
Apple TV+ just dropped the first sneak peek at its all-new original show, Losing Alice. The series will double as a “love letter for the still-too-rare female director,” making it a total must-watch.
In the trailer, viewers are introduced to Alice (Ayelet Zurer), a middle-aged female director who put her career aside to take care of her family. That all changes when she crosses paths with a young screenwriter, Sophie (Lihi Kornowski), and embarks on a thrilling love triangle adventure.
According to the show’s description, “Losing Alice is Apple TV+’s latest must-watch drama that takes the viewer on a hair-raising, heart-stopping cinematic journey through the conscious and subconscious of its protagonist’s mind.”
In addition to Zurer and Kornowski, the series also stars Gal Toren (David), Yossi Marshek (Tamir), Shai Avivi (Ami), Chelli Goldenberg (Tami), Hadas Jade Sakori (Maya), Sigalit Fuchs (Lifshitz) and Nova Doval (Keren).
Losing Alice was created, written and directed by Sigal Avin (The Ex List). Avin also served as an executive producer alongside Yoni Paran (The Champion) and Nadav Palti (The Commune).
The first three installments of Losing Alice will premiere on Friday, January 22, followed by weekly episodes on Apple TV+. *Adds to streaming queue*
