Betty's Long Lost Brother Has Been Cast
Looks like that theory that Joaquin DeSantos is Betty's long lost brother can officially be put to rest because Betty's brother just got cast and he definitely is not Rob Raco.
The actor who will be playing Betty's brother, Chic, is Hart Denton, according to a report by TVLine.
Hart is a virtually unknown actor - his only other acting credit being a small roles in Lethal Weapon and Fun Mom Dinner. But based solely on looks, Hart definitely fits the bill of a Cooper child. He's got blonde hair and chiseled cheek bones for days.
According to a casting call for Chic posted by Screenrant earlier this month, Betty's brother is going to be as mysterious as he is sexy.
"Betty’s long-lost brother," it reads. "Growing up in the foster system, then living on his own since he was 18, Chic is tough, resourceful, rough around the edges, and distrustful of new people. He knows how to look out for himself–he’s a survivor–but his mysterious past is a secret only he knows. Chic didn’t finish high school, hustles to scrape together a living on the fringes of society. There’s a darkness to Chic that is both sexy and scary."
Ooooooh.
Chic will be a recurring character on Riverdale, making his first appearance midway through season two. I, for one, cannot wait!
