Betty Rae’s Ice Cream opening fifth Kansas City-area location
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One popular Kansas City-area ice cream is continuing to expand in the metro.
Betty Rae’s Ice Cream plans to open a new location in Prairie Village starting in late July, the company said in a news release.
Country fans fill up Azura, Country Stampede’s first KC area edition
The new shop will be located at 5330 West 95th Street in Meadowbrook Village.
The company just opened its third location in Olathe last year and then started selling its top flavors by the pint at nearly 30 Kansas City-area grocery stores.
Betty Rae’s also has locations in the River Market and in Waldo and the soon-to-open Merriam location.
Betty Rae’s serves 26 core homemade flavors, from classics, like Vanilla Bean and Chocolate, along with monthly creations and collaborative seasonal flavors like Joe’s KC BBQ & Burnt Ends. Betty Rae’s also serves homemade waffle cones, ice cream sandwiches and sundaes.
