At the beginning of each year, Beyoncé usually does a photo dump on her website of photos from the previous year. 2021 was no exception. After posting a four-minute New Year's video featuring footage of her three-year-old twins Sir and Rumi Carter, the singer posted a plethora of photos on her site, including shots of Sir, Rumi, and their eight-year-old sister Blue Ivy with their mom during her birthday. They are the most intimate look Beyoncé has given fans of her kids in 2020.

Here Blue is with Bey during their 2020 New Year's party, before the coronavirus pandemic forced much of the world into quarantine. Blue wore a sequined black dress and tiara, the perfect attire for the stylish then-seven-year-old, who celebrated her eighth birthday on January 7, 2020:

But the majority of the new photos of Beyoncé with her kids were from Beyoncé's 38th birthday celebration photos from September 2020, posted to her site on January 3, 2021. Blue, Rumi, and Sir appear with Bey as she blows out her cake candles. The family appeared to spend the day at the beach, with Bey posting photos of her kids with her in the sand by the ocean.

Beyoncé spoke to British Vogue in November 2020, by the way, about how she and her family were planning to spend the holidays. She offered rare insight there about her kids, telling the publication, "My twins are three and now they are old enough to understand Christmas. I love Christmas. We decorate cookies and ornaments. We also collect ornaments with everyone’s favorite things. We decorate while jamming to Christmas music. Blue leaves milk and cookies for Santa, and always leaves the most beautiful letters for him. We get up early and open presents and then we have a big lunch with all of our family. I love the joy and wonderment of children on Christmas. It makes me feel like a kid."
