When it’s Blue Ivy’s golden birthday, the seven-year-old is going to go all out. Beyoncé was gracious enough to bless the world with photos from her daughter’s party earlier this year, and it turns out that Blue didn’t want just an average gold theme, she wanted rose gold.

The birthday girl wore a pale pink jumpsuit and went all out with hair and makeup, donning colorful eyelashes and long blue-and-pink braids. Beyoncé also shared photos of her twins, Rumi and Sir enjoying their sister’s party.

Blue also got some help from her dad, Jay Z, behind the turntables, showing that she’s inherited her parents talent for music. In a recent clip from Beyoncé’s new documentary Beyoncé Presents: Making The Gift, the mother-daughter duo record the song “Brown Skin Girl,” and Blue clearly needs no help from her mom who was holding up the lyrics while she sang.

Beyoncé spoke about the importance of recording the song with her daughter during the film.

“When I see fathers singing ‘Brown Skin Girl’ to their daughters, to know that my daughter can have the same opportunities and feel confident and feel like she doesn’t have to take her braids down and she can comb her afro out and she can glisten in her brown skin … that is why I make music,” she said.

Blue Ivy’s no stranger to the recording game. She got her first credit at just a few months old in 2012 on her dad’s song “Glory.”
