Big Wave Hellman Kai Lenny's Spoof on Bentley Ad Will Make You Laugh (Watch)
Maui waterman Kai Lenny is a busy man.
Along with charging the world's most dangerous waves, he serves as a hometown hero, races between Hawaiian islands, chases waves around the world, has twin toddlers, and even makes time to support the Bruce Lee fan club.
Like most pro surfers of his status, Lenny also has a lot of sponsors, and one of them is the Canadian personal watercraft company, Sea-Doo. Two days ago, Lenny took to social media showing the world he also has time for humor.
Lenny and Sea-Doo united to create a spoof on a Bentley ad. But instead of a Bentley, it's a jet ski. Instead of a blond model, it's Kai Lenny in board shorts and a T-shirt.
Sea-Doo captioned the post above:
"When you finally find that passion that just speaks to you... #Bentley vs. #SeaDoo @kai_lenny knows what we're talking about "
The video above cuts between clips of Lenny and his jet ski, and a sexy blond with a sexy Bentley.
The blond circles the luxury car, stroking it and whispering "Bentley" into a microphone.
Meanwhile, Lenny mimics her while circling his jet ski, touching it gently, and repeatedly says, "Sea-Doo."
Lenny isn't quite as smooth, or sexy, as the blond and at one point, looks like he's about to burst out laughing.
It turns out Lenny and Sea-Doo aren't the first to parody the luxury car ad. When it was released mid-summer using ASMR, autonomous sensory meridian response, it went insanely viral inspiring masses of parodies.
Truckers recreated the ad with their freight trucks, farmers with their tractors, and numerous middle-aged men with their crappy cars.
Lenny's impression of the hot girl and luxury car reminded us of the classic hot girl car wash calendars.
Maybe Lenny should mimic that next. Selling them would be a good fundraiser for Maui wildfire relief.
