Bill Cosby’s Rep Gives Brazen Statement About Diddy Following Raid at Rapper’s Homes

Sean "Diddy" Combs is dealing with a lot, but he doesn't have to go at it alone–at least not according to Bill Cosby's longtime spokesperson.
After teams of federal agents, including Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), raided the rapper's homes in Los Angeles and Miami on Monday, March 25, Cosby's rep Andrew Wyatt said he's ready to offer his crisis management services should the 54-year-old record producer take him up on the offer.
"Reflecting on Diddy's current situation takes me back to the guidance I provided during Cosby's tumultuous period. Those moments were fraught with challenges, requiring me to navigate the complexities of the MeToo era with finesse. My experience in steering a client through the treacherous valleys of public scrutiny and emerging unscathed on the other side has honed my skills," Wyatt said in a statement shared with Radar Online.
"Should Diddy seek advice, I'm here, ready to listen and eager to lend my expertise," he continued. "Remember, I'm the lone wolf who not only survived the MeToo storm but also led a client safely through to the other side."
In a statement shared with Parade, Wyatt noted that the "new era of click-baiters" and "YouTube enthusiasts" have strengthened the need for experienced crisis PR management.
"Unlike, Mr. Cosby there was no strategy nor formula to prevent the onslaught of narratives that were cast against Mr. Cosby but [now] I have that formula," Wyatt continued, "It’s time that Mr. Combs control the frequency before the volume is turned up excessively and his truth, facts and proof are downed out."
"The jury pool is being aggressively tainted within the court of public opinion, which will eventually flood into the courtroom and the deliberation room. I’m here to stand on the foundation of truth and facts if Mr. Combs is amenable to listen and be guided just as I guided Mr. Cosby home to freedom, not the attorneys but the publicist and crisis manager," Wyatt concluded.
Cosby, now 86, was convicted of sexual assault in 2018 and served about three years in jail before his conviction was thrown out in an appeal due to a technicality in 2021. Though he's now a free man, Cosby has faced several other accusations of sexual assault as well as mounting lawsuits.
The recent raid of Diddy's properties is tied to part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York, per The Associated Press.
In a statement, HSI said it “executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.”
"We will provide further information as it becomes available," authorities added.
A spokesperson for the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan declined to comment, and, as it stands, it’s unclear whether Diddy was the target of the investigation as the officials who spoke with AP did so on the condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to publicly discuss details of the investigation.
