In a surprise announcement, Billie Eilish revealed that she will be taking the stage at the 2020 Academy Awards for a special set.

While it's kind of surprising to see since Billie is not nominated for any Oscars this year, she recently gained a strong connection the movie world in Hollywood after it was announced that she was the chosen artist to create the next James Bond theme song for the upcoming film No Time to Die.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the Academy Awards have yet to confirm what songs Billie will be performing or if it will even include some of her own work. In the past, artists have been invited to sing at the big award show to perform nominees for Best Original Song or the In Memoriam.
However, some fans are thinking that Billie might be premiering her big Bond theme song at the Oscars.

Either way, this is just another part of a really big year for Billie, who just took home five Grammys and made history as the second artist, first female and youngest artist to win Grammys in the four main categories in the same year.
