Billie Eilish is paying tribute to Barbie in the best way at the 2024 Grammys.
The singer—whose Barbie track “What Was I Made For?” has already earned her and brother Finneas one Grammy win at tonight’s show—performed the hit single dressed in a look that mimicked the exact outfit of the 1965 Poodle Parade Barbie.
This included a long jacket with a green tartan pattern and pink lining, as well as a coordinating lime-green midi A-line dress layered over a bright pink turtleneck sweater. She accessorized further with a shiny pink headscarf, and finished off the look with glossy black pumps and black cat-eye sunglasses.
Eilish’s onstage ensemble takes a style cue from Barbie star and producer Margot Robbie, who made waves during the film’s press tour last year for her faithful re-creations of several iconic Barbie doll looks.
Eilish already paid homage to the Mattel doll earlier today on the Grammys red carpet, where she wore a slick Chrome Hearts varsity jacket that featured an embroidered Barbie logo on the chest. She paired the outerwear, which included vibrant pink patterned sleeves, with a white button-up, black tie, and baggy black pants.
This year, Eilish has earned a total of six Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Music Video. Along with Finneas, she accepted the award for Best Song Written for Visual Media earlier this evening.
