Billy Porter Stuns in a Bright Blue Crystal Jumpsuit at the Grammy Awards

Billy Porter may not be nominated for any Grammy Awards, but that isn't stopping him from making an entrance. Since his career-defining role on Pose, the 50-year-old has made dressing for the red carpet a makeshift Broadway spectacle. He's worn a tuxedo top with a sweeping skirt, feathered cape, and shoulderless, two-tone jumpsuits. And these were for formal affairs like the Oscars, Golden Globes, and Critics' Choice Awards.
The Grammys, however, allows attendees to be a lot more adventurous—and that's putting it lightly. So, best believe that Porter made sure he came out doing what he does best: put on a show.
With the help of Baja East's designer Scott Studenberg, Porter stepped onto the red carpet in a bright blue crystal jumpsuit adorned with silver fringe on the hem. And he didn't stop there. The look also featured a matching cropped jacket, and wide-brim hat with even more diamanté fringe.
The attention-grabbing accessory was made in collaboration milliner Sarah Sokol, and, according to a statement Porter's stylist made on the red carpet, was inspired by a Burberry chapeau that Billie Eilish once wore. The best part? The long tassels opens and closes mechanically. Ok, technology!
Against a red backdrop and among a sea of black suits, Porter really showed why he is the star of Pose.
