Bindi Irwin Celebrates Parents' Anniversary With Throwback Photo
Bindi Irwin honored her parents on what would have been their 31st anniversary in a sweet post shared on social media over the weekend.
The 24-year-old daughter of Steve and Terri Irwin took to Instagram on Saturday, June 3, to share an adorable throwback photo of her parents doing what they did best in celebration of their never-ending love for each other.
The snap showed Steve and Terri posing together with their arms wrapped around one another while standing in front of what appeared to be a safari truck that was parked on the sandy beach. Steve wore his signature khaki shorts with a matching button-up t-shirt, while Terri opted for gray shorts with a belt and a similar khaki button-up.
"A love like this is eternal. Happy Anniversary to my extraordinary parents. ??," Bindi sweetly shared in the caption.
Many fans took to the comments to express their love for the couple, especially the late Crocodile Hunter.
"Remembering anniversaries keeps them close to us ??????," one Instagram user suggested, adding, "I miss him."
"Happy Anniversary to your amazing parents! Eternal love. ??," another user wrote, while a third added, "Forever Soulmates ???"
"I always loved the way they looked at each other. Happy anniversary," someone else kindly shared.
Along with Bindi, Steve and Terri also share a son, Robert Irwin, 19, who made a sweet post on Instagram honoring his parent's anniversary as well. "Happy wedding anniversary Mum and Dad. Forever my biggest inspirations ??," he wrote.
Robert later shared the photo on Twitter, where Terri added to the post, writing, "It’s been an incredible 31 years since that special day."

Terri also re-shared her daughter's original message on Twitter, noting, "It makes me happy to remember this special day."
Terri and Steve were married for 14 years before the beloved conservationist and zookeeper suddenly passed away in a Sept. 2006 snorkeling accident.
Since his death, the Irwin family has remained dedicated to Steve's passion for wildlife, keeping his legacy alive through continued work and "conservation through education" efforts at the Australia Zoo.
