Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Begins Her Morning in the Most Peaceful Way With Grandma Terri & the Video Will Make Your Day
There’s nothing like fresh air and sunshine in the morning! Starting my day out in nature always gives me a boost, and Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior is on the same wavelength. The 3-and-a-half year-old begins her morning in such a peaceful way with her grandma Terri Irwin — and just watching the sweet video will make your day even brighter!
Terri, who shares Bindi, 26, and son Robert, 20, with the late Steve Irwin, posted a video on Instagram recently of a quiet moment of connection with her only granddaughter. Dressed in the famous Australia Zoo khaki, Terri crouches down in the grass outside, with brilliant sunshine already surrounding them. Grace stands next to her grandma (who she calls “Bunny”) in tan pants and a zoo shirt that says “The Khaki Is a Part of Me.” Aww! She has a tiny feed bag in one hand, and she reaches in with the other to grab some food flakes to put in Terri’s open hand. A little wallaby sits patiently by, waiting for a chance to get their breakfast.

“Oh he loves that!” Terri praises Grace as the wallaby learns forward to eat from Terri’s hand. Grace reaches back in her bag and says, “Just a sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle!” as she drops more food into Terri’s hand. She is so cute — and such a natural little zookeeper!
“Morning wallaby feeding with Grace makes my whole day brighter!??” Terri captioned the cute video. Bindi commented, “The most peaceful, wonderful way to start the day. ??” We totally agree!
“Endearing! ???? Plus she’s following the family tradition of care and concern for wildlife!” one person commented. Another wrote, “Your whole family makes my day brighter.”
The Irwins don’t just start their days with peaceful moments — they end their days that way, too. In a previous interview with SheKnows, Bindi shared, “In the mornings and the evenings, no matter what is happening during the day, we always go out on a family zoo walk.”

She called this tradition “very soothing,” adding, “No matter what has happened during the day, whether it’s a really fun and exciting day, or it’s a more challenging day, I really look forward to that time where I know I’m going to be with my family, I know that I’m going to turn off my phone, and I just enjoy the time and really try to let everything else go and be completely present. Because sometimes we forget to do that because life is such a whirlwind.”
“So if you can find that time to be utterly present with your family it really helps feed your soul,” Bindi added. “It’s just good for your heart. I love that time.”
