Retailing for $195.00, the collaborative footwear comes in “Green,” “Caramel” and “Bone” colorways. The sandal is available for purchase now at birkenstock.com in men’s and women’s sizes. The new silhouette is a perfect avenue for both brands’ aesthetics, marrying the comfort and support of Birkenstock with Stüssy’s affinity for skate culture and streetwear-inspired design.

The resulting slip-on footwear is crafted from textural suede uppers, inspired by Birkenstock’s Kyoto silhouette, that are lined with cozy extra-long shearling. Additionally, the Solana includes anatomical cork-latex footbeds that cradle the feet, EVA outsoles and embossed Stüssy and Birkenstock branding on either side of the uppers.
The sandal features a singular thick overarching strap that keeps the shoe in place and open toes that give the feet breathing room. The collection went live on Nov. 24 and is available at 1774.com, stussy.com, selected Stüssy chapter stores and Dover Street Market locations. The collaboration is available in limited quantities.

Founded in 1774, Birkenstock’s roots trace back to vassal and shoemaker Johann Adam Birkenstock. The cobbler worked out of the small Hessian village of Langen-Bergheim in local church archives. His commitment to his craft was imbued into the brand’s DNA and stays present in all of their footwear creations.
Stüssy is a fashion house born in southern California’s surf scene in the 80s and 90s. The brand was created by Shawn Stussy and has become a staple brand of the streetwear scene thanks in part to its laid-back identity. Since its humble beginnings, Stussy has since become a household name in the fashion and hip-hop industries and is available in Europe, Asia, the United States, Canada and Australia.
