Black-and-White Looks Were a Street Style Favorite on Day 7 of Paris Fashion Week
It's a foolproof color combination.
We're nearing the end of Paris Fashion Week, and it looks like the street style crowd is turning to their easy, foolproof wardrobe choices when it comes to getting dressed. On Monday, showgoers opted for black-and-white looks, which happens to be a combination that always works. In fact, playing with color coordination has been a running style theme through fashion month, from brown and beige ensembles in New York to slime green and monochromatic white in Milan and, most recently, bold, red outfits from over the weekend.
Since black and white makes for such a simple color palette, fashion-savvy individuals added a pop of color or print, such as python boots or red heels, or made sure to include some interesting details that elevated the whole look, like texture (see Coco Rocha's ruffled pants) or a statement coat with strong shoulders and a houndstooth motif.
