Blackpink's signature slogan "in your area" always symbolized the K-pop group's rapid global domination. But the supergroup is about to take over your makeup bag as well—at least, one of them is. Today, Mac Cosmetics makes history by appointing its first-ever K-pop idol, Blackpink's Lisa (Lalisa Manobal), as the new global brand ambassador.

When she's not shattering records with her inimitable girl group, the Thai rapper "will be the face of M·A·C’s renowned collections and key campaigns, as well as the muse for the brand’s exciting innovation projects," the brand explained in a press release.

Known for her eccentric style and bold beauty choices—think bubblegum pink highlights, razor-sharp winged eyeliner, muted lipsticks—Lisa was drawn to the iconic beauty brand because of its decades-spanning reign as a true innovator in beauty. "Mac [Cosmetics] is truly at the forefront of trendsetting, every time I see a Mac campaign or the incredible looks their artists create backstage at fashion weeks around the world. It’s an honor to partner with a brand with such an incredible heritage and unrivaled expertise in makeup artistry. I am thrilled and looking forward to this journey," Lisa says.

For Mac, it was Lisa's "unparalleled talent and bold, fashion-forward style," says Drew Elliott, senior vice president and global creative director for Mac Cosmetics. “Always confident and never one to shy away from risks, she embodies our commitment to celebrating individuality and self-expression above all else. We can’t wait for her fans to see what she has in store for them through our collaboration.”

Lisa clocks in for her new gig starting this month and continuing throughout a longtime partnership. And if you're wondering what Mac products Lisa is wearing in the campaign above, shop the full look below.
