Blake Lively Gifted Herself This Pricey Item After Booking First Big Role

Blake Lively revealed the expensive gift she bought herself after getting cast in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

While speaking to ET at the grand re-opening ceremony of Tiffany & Co.'s flagship store in New York City, the actress shared that she wanted to commemorate booking her breakout role with a present to herself.

"It was like, 'What are you going to do for yourself that will be something that will last for your lifetime?'" Lively, 35, recalled.

"I bought the ball bracelet," she said, speaking about the Tiffany's must-have 2000s accessory. Lively quipped that she "couldn't afford the one with the heart" but "might have had the knockoff of that" when she was in the sixth grade. "But we don't talk about that," she joked.

Lively also showed she shares her husband Ryan Reynolds' signature sarcastic sense of humor. When asked about her favorite Met Gala look, she said she couldn't pick a favorite. The Gossip Girl alum joked, "It's like picking a favorite kid, except I love my looks even more than my children, so it's even worse!"

The actress recently revealed that she wouldn't attend this year's Met Gala. At the same Tiffany & Co. event, she told various reporters on the red carpet that she would instead "be watching." When a reporter complimented her 2022 Met Gala look, Lively joked that she'll "be wearing that on my couch on Monday." This year's gala is titled "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," paying tribute to the late iconic fashion designer, who died in 2019.
