While Taylor Swift turned 34 on Dec. 13, one of her close friends, Blake Lively, waited a few days before posting a touching note alongside photos from the birthday bash that had everyone envious.
Lively shared a bunch of snaps from the star-studded party on her Instagram feed on Sunday, Dec. 17. Beside the first photo showing Lively grinning and hugging Swift tightly as a cake was brought out, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants actress wrote, "Somehow, she’s even better in real life. Happy, happy birthday to the one and only."
More photos showed off the many celebrities in attendance, including Gigi Hadid, Zo? Kravitz, Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry, the Haim sisters, Swift's longtime friend Abigail Anderson Berard and more.
They all looked like they had a blast, with everyone gathering around as Swift blew out the candles on a cake that read, "Birthday Girl of the Year."
Fans loved seeing Lively and Swift's close friendship, with one top-liked comment reading, "WOMEN. SUPPORTING. WOMEN!!!"
"I can only imagine how fun & funny it would be to hang out with you two. Personalities on 10000," said another.
The official MTV account declared, "friendship goals," as a Swiftie added, "We love to see a solid girl gang ???."
Someone else joked, "this is going to be my personality for atleast 24 hours."
While Swift's beau, Travis Kelce, couldn't be in NYC at the party with her, as he had football practice back in Kansas City, the singer appeared to have a great time partying with her friends.
Meanwhile, Swift headed to Foxborough, Mass., on Dec. 17 to cheer Kelce on as his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, played the New England Patriots. The week before, Swift was also at the Chiefs game against the Bills, which ended in the team's second loss in a row.
